Welcome to our website dedicated to the equipment that helps us enjoy the sport that we love...FLY FISHING. My name is Mike and I started fly fishing when I was in college around 1988. I did some fly tying, too. I found that I didn't have the patience to keep doing that, so I started buying flies instead. I've known some guys that could tie flies very well. I found that I enjoyed the time on the stream much more. I've fly fished off and on over the last 21 years. I grew up in the mountains of PA near Penns Creek. I spent time fishing that stream and Spring Creek in nearby Bellefonte, PA. Those are two great streams for trout fishing.

Recently, I've started fishing again. Here is picture of me fly fishing last Spring in Middletown, Maryland.

I've always had a fascination with the equipment used in the sport, especially the rods and reels. I don't claim to be any kind of expert on fly fishing or equipment. Actually, that is exactly why I started this site. I wanted to find the best equipment out there and learn as much as possible about it. I assure you that I will pass along all of my findings to you via this site. Also, I will track down the best deals on great fly fishing equipment such as Diamondback, Redington, Sage, Scott, G. Loomis, St. Croix and Orvis.
